Operations, Quality and Compliance

The Operations, Quality and Compliance unit serves as a unified central structure driving the sustainable functioning, institutional development, and operational continuity of the Artificial Intelligence, Informatics and Innovation Center. Operating through an integrated, engineering-oriented approach, the unit seamlessly bridges physical infrastructure management with institutional quality frameworks. Its core responsibilities encompass the coordination of technical and logistical operations, such as workspace organization, technical installations, and facility arrangements, while simultaneously developing and embedding internationally recognized management standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 10002, and ISO 27001) directly into these operational processes.

Beyond maintaining the center’s internal research, production, and prototyping environments, the unit actively supports and strengthens the broader Near East University ecosystem. The operational best practices developed and proven within our center, including workflow optimisations, maintenance protocols, and technical support procedures, have been successfully implemented across other units of Near East University. By providing institutional process development, internal audit preparation, and risk-based process improvement practices, it acts as a critical support mechanism for academic, administrative, healthcare, and industrial stakeholders. Ultimately, the unit ensures that all physical infrastructures, digital systems, and compliance procedures function in harmony, facilitating operational excellence and supporting the university’s broader vision for continuous improvement and digital transformation.
